All 8 Tae Ryong Taekwondo Schools (from Bakersfield to Brentwood), 81 Black Belt candidates, tested, earning their 1st Dan Black Belt and all other Black Belts advancing up to the next Black Belt, Dan level.
Diane trains with Coach Bill Nesbit, Tae Ryong Taekwondo Ventura, one of 8 schools under the umbrella of Grand Master Yong Shin, Tae Ryong Taekwondo, established in 1982, in Camarillo.
Mrs. Candice Nesbit, wife of Mr. Nesbit and owner of Tae Ryong Taekwondo Ventura, also tested for her 3rd Dan Black Belt with Diane.
Diane and Candice have been practicing diligently for this day and were awarded Saturday, with their new 3rd Dan Black Belts by Coach, Mr. Nesbit.
For Diane this is the culmination of a 5 year, non-stop competition run, including having completed, 2 Black Belt Dan advancements, 2nd Dan Black Belt, 2012 and now 3rd Dan Black Belt. 5 international Taekwondo tournaments, (Las Vegas x 3, Montreal and Costa Rica). 4 National tournaments, (San Jose x 2, Dallas, Chicago). 4 State tournaments, (Brea, Pomona, Fresno, Las Vegas) 2 local tournaments in Pomona and Oxnard. Training at the Inaugural Ultra Sparring Camp, Olympic Training Center, Colorado Springs.
